Design and complete renovation of an apartment in Gizi.
Giannis, who lives most of the year abroad, decided to buy and renovate an old180sqm apartment in the centre of Athens. The work would be particularly demanding as:
- almost the entire project would be taking place with him been abroad in a different time zone
- the schedule was quite tight, in the run-up to Christmas.
At our introductory meeting, Giannis confessed that he had already received 6 offers from other companies and still, he didn’t feel confident about going ahead with any of them. In some proposals it was obvious that the works would not satisfy the quality standards he had set and in some others there were many “blurry” points that he did not understand.
On our first visit to the apartment we discussed and thoroughly recorded all the details: the special mosaic on the floor that needed to be maintained to stand out, the type of stone that would warm the space without exaggeration, the special tiles that would highlight the large kitchen as well as all works of the total renovation.
In the budget quote we sent him a few days later, everything was listed and described in detail, both in terms of costing, materials and construction time. We were pleased when Giannis decided to move forward with us!
In a short period of time – because he had to leave again for his country of residence – we chose tiles, colours and all the materials, we also decided on the final deadline and we started!
At every stage of the work, we communicated the process to Gianni via photos and videos and completed the following works in 2 months:
- the entire electrical and plumbing infrastructure of the house was changed
- all the floors, timber and mosaic, were maintained
- the kitchen was enlarged and completely renovated
- the bathroom was enlarged and fully renovated
- a new WC was built from scratch
- all exterior window frames were replaced
- new interior doors and a new central entrance door were installed.
